Very nice quotes!

1) Adults tend to think they are superior to children and to admit mistakes to them makes them appear weak. I always apologize to my child when I make mistakes because I expect her to do the same. Children learn by what they live.

2) and 4) Revenge and unforgiveness actually hurt you more than it hurts the other because it keeps you from being happy. Foregoing revenge and forgiving actually takes more strength because revenge and unforgiveness are your gut reactions. Holding on to these bitter feelings imprisons you.

3) True friends don't put themselves above you and vice versa.

Normally, I would say that they are sort of corny. In light of the murders and shootings in the Amish school recently, I think they could be applied to the Amish philosophy of life and forgiveness. That incident really has had an effect on me, and it has made me look at things differently.

I like them all but, the first one is my favorite.

How do you like mine?

I do the best I can, the very best I know how, and I mean to keep doing it to the end.
If the end brings me out alright what is said against me will not amount to anything.
If the end brings me out all wrong ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference.---Abraham Lincoln
