There is a cheap useful item called Bar Keepers Friend that you should be able to find at any local store in the cleaning department....use as directly ...its a chalky white substance that you spread on sponge with aliitle water ..it gets to be like paste...scrub in circular motion then rinse off......it will shine like a mirror!!! Very very good stuff and wont harm your sink either!! Its in a gold can about same size as Comet can.....dont use comet it oxidizes your finish and will stain!!

Any cream cleanser with bleach, try to avoid the ones with abrasives.
I prefer Vim.
Also, once you do get it nice and shiney, keep it that way by drying completely after each use. Saddly, this is the only way to keep water stains from building up.

Bar Keepers Friend is specifically formulated for this purpose. I use it and it works great. I buy it at my local grocery store. Below is a link to the product.

After you clean it, using lemon oil will definitely make it shine and I have tried this and it does work. Best wishes.

I find scrubbing with a wet SOS pad works great. Or try making a paste with baking soda & water with a little lemon, but really, the SOS works good.

clean it with comet. Dampen the sink and sprinkle comet in it, then wipe it with a rag, it also cleans the brown stuff around the drain.
