If you're in a basic algebra class, then the domain is almost certainly all real numbers. (In a more advanced class, complex numbers might be the answer.) When in doubt, "all real numbers" is most often the domain of a function.

Since you probably have more problems like this, the two main things that can restrict the domain are fractions with variables on the bottom (in which case whatever would make the denominator equal zero is left out of the domain) and square roots (in which case whatever is under the root must be positive).
