Actually moldy bread would not make you sick-Penicillin is actually mold. Some people are allergic to it though. Moldy bread is probably fine for humans and animals to consume as long as its just a little moldy but I wouldn't give animals moldy or rotten meats that could make animals and humans very sick!

Absolutely...the moldier the better, it is good for the digestive system. In fact, you should try some yourself, it does not taste good, but it is very healthy.
