Maple Leaf Stadium was built for the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball team of the International League in 1926. It was situated at the foot of Bathurst Street and on the south side of Lakeshire Boulevard (formerly Fleet Street)and replaced their second home on Toronto's Hanlan's Point. It was the home for the team until 1967 when Toronto lost the team due to poor attendance. It was demolished in 1968. The site currently occupied by apartments shaped like the old ball park.
