I adore George Bush. He is the first person in many years with the determination and courage to take the hard road. His easiest path would be to give in to the liberals and biased media and let Iraq and other troubled areas in the world fall to hell. Democrats have no solutions except criticism and no courage to follow what is best for our country. Bush has been unjustly crucified because he doesn't give a damn about negative press and sees the big picture.

He was elected twice, he did not win the popular vote (the vote of the people) in either election. George Bush is president of the U.S. due to the electoral vote (which is through the electoral college and is supposed to represent the popular vote but does not have to and has not for the last two presidential elections)
The people of the United States have never elected George Bush as president.

I hate George Bush because he is responsible for the disaster that has happened to America since he became President. First, 9-11 happened on his watch! He was busy sleeping I cause. The War and rebuilding in Afghanistan was not completed when he diverted necessary inventory to Iraq. Bush started the Iraq War which was a loser from before the first American Soldier crossed the border into Iraq. And now the United States is isolated in Iraq and being blasted from all sides thanks to Bush's ineptitude and childishness.
If the people of America would spend a few minutes a day reading about World events, politics, governance, economics and social realities, enough of the people would have know that invading Iraq was a terrible mistake before it ever happened.
Over 600,000 thousand Iraqi civilians have been killed according to the lastest research. And of course, 2740 or so American Troops have died, 10's of thousand are severely wounded and many will never recover.
I disrespect Bush and the citizens who voted for him without knowing anything about Iraq or it's history or people.

The first time we weren't in war. He wont pull or troops out. That is the main reason why. He is a lying ***. Did u know that another country told him that they have nuclerwarheads and he didn't do any thing to them. But IRAQ said they dint have any and look we didn't find any WOW wonder why that is. so this other country has some and he don't care. The real reason is the oil. We need it that what makes our country economy stay afloat. higher gas prices less people travel to the store so less money for the store so less money to the government. THAT is why if Healary Clinton Run for president i will vote for her.

Certainly not by me... I voted against him both times... and logically you can look at it like that but our voting system is not always up to par either... the people don't vote for President, as much as they like to tell you they do.... The Electoral College votes for people, they are suppose to vote a certain way and not stray from that.. but some do and it's unfortunate but as long as they have a place - there isn't much you can do. The people have a lot more say about things then they think they do, but if no one acts or no one believes in a cause then everything stays the same.

Not a question of hate, but I don't exactly have much respect for him as president. When he was first running to be the Repub candidate, I didn't care for the fact that his greatest claim to fame was how many people had been executed under his governorship. A case can be made for capital punishment, but I'm not sure being a hangman is what qualifies you for the presidency. Then his whole campaign seemed so insincere - his campaign against McCain, then against the dems.
When he got into office - Florida - well, may or may not have been his fault, but it left the legitimacy of his presidency in doubt to say the least. - In fact my respect for American democracy received a bit of a blow.
His great friends have been the ones who have ruined the American economy (Enron, etc.).
The only thing that saved his presidency, ironically, was 9/11 - because Americans tend to rally around their president in times of crisis. Since then, however, his handling of the crisis has been less than brilliant. The democratic world was with him to go after the attackers in Afghanistan. We would have had them to.
But his seemingly sick obsession with Iraq ruined it. He took most of his effort away from Afghanistan to go after his Daddy's enemy ) I wonder if he had felt his father had been a wimp in that case? I don't know really what was going on in his mind).
He has unnecessarily hurt America's image in the world.
He has unnecessarily sent thousands of American soldiers to their deaths
He has created a rallying point for terrorists, when terrorism probably would have gone out of style with our united response in Afghanistan.
He not only was the only major country to refuse to adhere to the International Justice Tribunals, but threatened other countries (allied ones) in order that they sign treaties exempting any American citizens from those tribunals (tribunals to try war crimes).
He has defied the Geneva Conventions in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Do you need more?
Like
Trips, my respect for Congressmen, for the Senate, and for the justices, also went down several notches for not reigning him in. (He should have been impeached long ago).
My respect for American citizens for not bringing about Viet-Nam era style demonstrations has not exactly grown.
My respect for the Canadian government (both liberal and conservative) went down for not standing up to him over prisoners in Afghanistan.
Is that enough reasons why I don't respect him?

He lost the popular vote in the last election, which means more than half of us did not vote for him. As for the people who did, at least 10% of those disapprove of Bush because last I heard his approval rating was in the 30's. I don't know though, I'm just waiting for him to leave. God, it's so depressing.

President Bush is an incompetent - the worst ever. Sometimes I wish Consevatives should have just stayed in the dark when Reagan took over. I think if the liberal Democrats hadn't screwed themselves up back in '68, than maybe today I, among the millions who follow American politics, wouldn't be sitting here today complaining about some Texan who has a crappy prenounciation .

He wasn't voted in twice, read the papers and retain knowledge. The man wants our country to be set back 60 years. No sex or birth control, minorities know their place, women stay happy and pregnate in the kitchen, and white Christian males have all-knowing power.

well the second time was based on electroal votes instead of popular votes.
But I think it has to do mainly with the war and the economy. Those are very touchy issues.
