Hey, im currently doing AS level but i need a A level or the equivilant in Maths so i can do my University course but i cant do a Maths alevel at my school since u need a B to do the course and i only have a C, can anyone help?

A lot of Universities now offer access courses, you could try looking at these. It would add a year onto your entry probably but I can't see any other way. You could possibly try private tuition and paying for the exam yourself (not as expensive as you might think). Also some evening classes offer A-level courses but you might have to travel.

You should also consider if A-level is the right course for you. There is a definite ramp-up from GCSE, and if you only got a C doing the A-level may not be the right decision.

Try your local Family Learning Centre. They run courses in all areas leading to BTEC qualifications.
