My husband and I have the option of flying into the Orlando International Airport, or to save money, Tampa Bay Airport. I love MCO, but am willing to fly into TPA to save some cash. Is it a nice airport? What is your opinion on it? Thanks!

I have flown into that airport in 2004 on my way to Disney World. We were meeting someone there. Last year and this year, I flew into MCO. I preferred Tampa because of the fact that there were fewer children going into Tampa than Orlando International! (Not that I don't like children, it was just a more relaxed flight)
I found they both are nice airports.

I've used both and find TPA very decent, with its usual quota of stores, fast foods, pubs, etc. As someone else said, don't forget to take into consideration the extra time and $ needed to go to Orlando. Have a nice trip.

It's a decent airport. it gets you where you want to go. Don't forget that it's at least an hours drive to Orlando (if that's where you're going), so you need to factor that into the "value" of flying to Tampa.

Definately go to TPA over Orlando. Orlando is too congested.

i suppose it's okay. it is a bit less confusing than MCO. but MCO is closer to everything city-wise.
