Unlike many parts of Europe, the Philippine people know a great deal of English, they are not offended if you only know English, and are more than willing to help you out and show you around. Like any country, it has areas you should not go, like the southern islands, but most of it is wonderful. It is like going to a civilized jungle. The cities are beautiful and very metropolitan, but the country side has a lot of unspoiled beauty and it can appear at times as though you are miles and miles away from civilization.
I absolutely love the place. My wife is from Manila, although we met each other here in the States. I plan on retiring there.

i like the Philippines. this is the place my husband lives. This summer season, we intend to do some island hopping to around Bohol and Cebu. i'm examining maps and motel education now. i've got already have been given my plane cost ticket for my flight to Manila in June.
