I ask why if I leave the sitting part in the up position, it upsets them, they say it is because they shouldn't have to put it down. And so I should put it up? So, as toilet seats go these days, there is not only a seat part, but a cover part, and when I put THAT down, this seems to upset too. So THIS way, BOTH man and woman has to move the seat for their respective goings on in the commode area-SO? WHY would THIS upset someone?

Yes, but to the second and third answerers, don't you feel that since I am so busy and not paying attention in the morning, and tired, that due to the exhaustion from having to constantly move the seat, that I deserve a rest, and therefore should be allowed to put the cover down and take a break?

And also, do you feel that women claim to be more detail oriented, so that the seat thing, and not checking it because you are "tired" is an argument as weak as circus lemonade?

I agree with the answer above!! I think the biggest thing is that we don't like to fall in!! I love my boyfriend..but he always leaves the seat up if he gets up in the middle of the night. I'm the first one up in the morning so I'm sleepy and don't think about checking to see if the seat is down!! Talk about a wake up call!! LOL...I don't gripe at him about it though..I just try to give him reminders now and then.

Mostly because women dont like to think about putting the seat down when they have to use the bathroom....most times we dont think if it's up or down and go stright to sit on the toliet and fall in. Or we will go and sit on the toliet and land on the cover. It annoys most of us, because we like to have things our way. espcialy our houses. We get busy often and always on the run so the toilet thing gets us mad because we want to run to the bathroom and run out to our next destination without makin a mess or so....
