I hope you're not a real Dr., b/c that is the most idiotic question I've seen today. I think it's a test of how strong the UN, more importantly the 6 members as a whole, deal with this situation. This isn't some ploy to humble America, it's a threat to destroy our way of live.
It's not America who needs to take action, it is North Korea who needs to think about what they are doing.

One could suggest that the North Koreans and Iranians are trying to manipulate the American election by maneuvers that make the Bush administration look bad.

it is a likely scenario. But waht I am glad about is that GW Bush and Co are not jumping into a warlike stance. This makes me believe there might actually be a god.
