I mean which accent would you rather die and not hear ,which is an instant turnoff. I have a Zimbabwean accent myself which people would call a rhodesian accent it has some British accent undertones and native language influence..Just wondering if its repulsive!

Good question. And I have a very specific answer. The absolute worst accent ever is the BOSTON accent from the U.S. I live in Florida and hear these folks talk in the grocery store, at sports events, in pubs, or pretty much anywhere for that matter. Their accent is truly repulsive. It sounds like they have a speech impediment. They sound like small children trying to pronounce words for the first time. It sounds gross. The best accent is definitely midwestern. Boring but quite understandable. Somewhat soft spoken and understandable to listeners. Anywhere from the Great Lakes area is a good accent.

The accent from the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Also, the New Jersey accent.

Well since I'm from America ... and the people here talk ghetto ... I love hearing a true international accent ... it's different and nice to know there are so many people in this world other than us ... I'd have to say I can't stand the German accent ... they spit a lot and it sounds too harsh not very romantic at all ... !

I love all types of accents except for a harsh Northern / New York Bronx type of accent. THAT really grates on my nerves. I'll bet your accent is lovely.

You have sort of an advantage because as soon as you open your mouth it draws attention & makes people really listen to the words comming out of your mouth.....The ladies, ohhhh the ladies they love an accent & you can just be from another part of the states let alone another country...I guess it is sexy to them and different hearing a man from another region convey themselves to them plus a chance to get a man from out of their area is always appealling to them! So no I think you should appreciate it & utilize it to your advantage!

I love listening to various accents, and it isn't the accent that is repulsive, its a voice, and those vary from person to person.

i honestly like British accents. I honestly have an exceptionally "available" accessory, through fact my father is Syrian, so i specially situations can sound extremely weird and wonderful, yet i honestly like people who've accents, this is alluring to me/
