I once was cleaning my .357 magnum revolver, and decided it would be "cool" to spin it. I spun it, and generated enough centrifugal force that it fired. The bullet missed my skull by about 2 inches, and went through the ceiling of my apartment.
I was deaf in my left ear for three days, but alive. I'm wiser now. :)

Passed up an all-inclusive college scholarship 'cause I didn't want to stay in Florida. Guess what? I *did* stay in Florida, for 12 more years, and had to pay for my own college education at 22! *facepalm* *blush*
