Wells has been talking high money. And the Toronto GM was quoted as basically saying that Wells was pricing himself out of Toronto.
I suspect negotiations will be short - free agency thrives in the "there's always a bigger idiot owner" environment that rewarded A-Rod and Manny Ramirez. I'm sure Wells will find his bigger idiot.

I don't know if the Jays can afford him anymore. With the huge contracts of Halladay and BJ Ryan, it could be difficult.
