i pay same as 2&3 bdrm apts. found out after living here awhile. Charged me late fee last month; after tantrum. Husband talked to owner last saturday. He doesn't mind as long as we pay. Which we always do. I plan on talking to him about her behavior lately, seems i am at work when he comes. She is gone for a month visiting out of state,so there is some peace around here. When we moved in she showed me where to park. Now she says I don't have any more parking. It is for business only. Yet she & her husband park there; I want to know my rights& I am wondering if she keeps 2 sets of books. HELP

Review your lease and see when your past due date is (5 days or 7 days after the 1st), check as to if parking if a parking space is provided & whether or not you have 1 or 2 spaces.
You could also call the Better Business Bureau or you local Legal Aid or a housing attorny and see what they say.
As for her crazy behavior, I would also tell the owner that you would rather deal with him/her directly and send rent to him/her. Make sure you keep records of payments and a journal of all that transpirers.
It sucks to rent especially when you have a crazy manager.

WOW!!! You should try to get her for harassment or something then get the hell out of your lease.
