Avoid her is the best thing to do. Eventually she will get the picture, if she doesnt then she isnt that bright and you will have to be a little more aggressive with the rejection. Get another friend of yours and try to hang out with them as much as possible, let her know you are going to lunch or doing something but not invite her, is she invites herself then let her know it is a private event. That your friend invited you and it would be rude to include her in the event. If worse comes to worse just tell her honestly that you dont like her, and dont want to hang out with her.

Just try to slowly phase her out or give small hints that you are not interested in being friends.
Like if she comes up to you and assumes or asks you to go someplace together, just make a small excuse as to why you can't go with her. Continue to do these things until she gets the hint or stops making efforts to spend time with you. She should get the hint that you are busy or don't make much effort to spend time with her and might stop trying to contact you.

That is hard to answer without knowing what type of circumstances you have to interact with her. If this is at work, there is not a lot you can do without offending her and making everyone uncomfortable. Whatever the circumstances, I would just do my best to avoid her and give short answers when she speaks to you.

Be cool, she'll get the message. Don't accept invites, don't answer phone calls, emails, etc., I'm going through this now, I'm keeping my distance. I'm willing to be an acquaintance cause we travel in the same circles but thats all.

How are you put in the position to be treated as a best friend? Remove yourself if possible. Maybe she has a crush on you.

Just be honest with her. Its really the only way to get the point across. Once you've said your peace, keep your distance. Give it some time, and she'll get the picutre.

To love is easy...but to be loved is great.
If u don't like her tell her what is that you don't like in her...if she thinks of you as her best friend she would surely change....
but if you don't like her for her physical beauty....Learn to look beyond it ....other wise you would always live in / with unhappiness

Stop making her feel she is then. Don't be so available toward her and maybe she will get the hint.
