Virginia is a beautiful state, especially around the Shenandoah Valley. Virginians like everyone else in the US, most are wonderful, gracious, friendly and some are not.

It's a big state, and diverse geography.
Mountans, beaches...
Too much clay up north, tends to be a little prettier on the Maryland side of the Potomac.
Great Falls and that area is gorgeous though.
The Shenendoahs are pretty, a very nice drive.
Pretty, but hot and humid toward the south.
Virginians are fairly well educated...but too many Marylanders are moving to Northern VA, trying to ruin this state like they've done their own.
Downtown Richmond is run down. Very sad. They need to work together and improve the whole state.
