Seriously, the "Black Spot" be placed upon the frivolous anti-Red Sox fans who answer to vent their own pettiness.

Friends I have to apologize for Barrett G, but if you were to sift through his responses to other polls you would find he can not posit an argument without resorting to his pre-simian roots.

You will find he continually berates others endeavors wondering why they do not "get a life" but spends his time in Onanistic activities while involved with his Playstation or the tailpipes of his automobile.

I would like to see some movement for real players in the off season. Make a run at Soriano; he would be great in RF for Trot or at 2nd (or both.) Also, there is a need to sign another catcher or bring one up from the minors. Finally, trade to upgrade the bully. A closer is needed now that Papelbon is moving into the rotation and could use 1 or 2 other starters, Oswalt or Zito would be prime.

Whatever the team does, be decisive. Don't screw around and lose out on the opportunity to sign the big name, if he's the right fit. Don't sign A-Rod for the sake of signing A-Rod but make the move if he improves the team and fits with the chemistry.

Go Sox!

Not a Red Sox fan, but any team that faces the Yankees 19 times a year, is a team to root for.....

See if David DeJesus is available from the Royals, has speed and is a good hitter, very solid on defnse and is young.

Get Zito.

Hielman has been great for the Mets as a set up man, but he wants to start, with the Mets strong pitching prospects he will not get to start. See if the Mets would take some AAA talent for the old Notre Dame alum.

Trade Manny to the Astro's for Oswalt or Morgan Ensburg or both or some combo of tone and prospects. The Astros need a power hitter in the worst way, Oswalt would make the Sox pitching much better.

Need to stop holding on to past "heroes". Trot Nixon has been ont he decline for years, but they insist on bringing him back injury after injury. We need better relief pitching and more guy that can drive in some run in the middle of the order. Manny and Papi can't do everything right? I think personally that the Red Sox need a consistant and GOOD lead off man. I like Coco Crisp but he needs a couple of years to come around. Youklis does NOT need to leading off ever. I like him in a 2 or 7 spot.

YEAH.....finally a Red Sox question! I've missed being a part of this conversation!!

2007, I've heard, is bringing alot of new changes. Let's don't just pick on the pitching problems, though. There is alot more changes that need to happen along with the pitching!

I absolutely agree with pitching in the pen, a closer, and potentially another starter. Trade Manny? Yeah great idea I would do it in a heartbeat if the price was right and you had a bat or two to back up Papi. All in all I would have to say a closer, one or two relievers, and possibly a starter. Oh yeah resign Trot he may not have great numbers and gets hurt every year but he makes up for it with the inspirational play in the outfield and playing day in and day out hurt.

Actually....no....there is no "grammar check" on the website as you may know, but there sure as hell is a spell checker. And the correct wording would be grammatical errors, not grammar errors.
Also....did you not read my answer? Or did I make a point that your right wing brain couldn't fit in with the rest of the illogical nonsense that fills it?

And get a life. They're aren't your Sox. You don't own the team and have absolutely no bearing on any changes they may make. Obsessing over sports is NOT healthy.

I wish Trot were coming back *sniff*, I think we need to do something with our little primadonna Manny, he hasn't done sh*t. And maybe if we'd stop having so many goddam*ed injuries! Oh yeah, and maybe we should work on our PITCHING!!!
