It has been over 20 years since I have made a collect call. I was in an accident and had to call home.

They still have that option? I thought with the rise in cell phones that no one would need that option anymore. I don't think I ever made a collect call.

So long ago it's hard to remember. Think when I was a raw recruit calling home because my mother had asked me to. Was rough living on $60 a month. (Keep in mind...that was only $15 a week)

A couple of weeks ago. The phone where I was calling from didn't have any long distance service and I had forgot my cell phone.
