It's okay to have no close friends but awefully boring. You should get one or some.

There are a lot of people that do go through life with no friends but in all honesty having no friends is rough. Mostly because when you have friends even with you being married you have someone to talk to other then your spouse. Always talking to your loved one is good but sometimes there are things that your spouse isnt going to wanna talk about or even hear they may seem like they are interested but most of the time they arent and that is where a close friend could come in. Friends are people who want to share your problems and are there when you need to get away friends are usually the crazy, spontanious other side of you.

Sweets... From personal experience... I think everyone needs a friend. Im in a WONDERFUL relationship with the man of my dreams, but I still need my friend time. I think its fun to go out and have a few drinks with my close girls. Some I've just recently met on www.myspace.com I did a search for girls in my area and we all get together and hang out now... I've met over 60 this year and some of them have turned into my best friends. So good luck to you. And hey... If you join myspace, you can look me up... www.myspace.com/graceangeleve Good luck!!!

Of course, there are levels of friendship, ranging from an addictive need for 'friends' to those who value friends but do not have to have them close by at all times.
For me, it is good to have a friend whom I can trust with absolutely anything I need to share. I have had a number women and men friends whom I would trust with my life.
I hope I have been as good a friend to at least some of them.
Having one GOOD friend, to me, is better than having a hall frull of acquaintances. It is the quality of the relationship, not the number of relationships, that means the most to me.

Guess what. There are people just like you. My dad died when I was 7, and after that happened, my mom and I were constantly on the road moving. If you would like an online buddy, visit my 360 page, by clicking my avatar and then going to my 360 page(link visible) and sending me an invite.

Hmmm... interesting.... You have no close friends because your spouse forbids you to have them? any friends at all? Have you put up a 'friends barrier' around you?
