The rez is in three states - UT, AZ and NM. We can make out what Apaches are saying when they speak Apache. We're called Dine' meaning the people. There's about 250,000 of us, about half living off the rez in Phoenix, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City. There are Jewish Navajos (mainly on the east coast). Some of us do use peyote but that's mainly a Plains indian thing - not a majority. We don't eat dogs, we like mutton.

They live in Arizona and smoke Peyote. They liked to be called "The People."
