Imperial Palace is one of the best options in money and location, its in the best part of the strip, just in front of Caesars, so you can go everywhere from there. I do not use their web page to reserve, instead email them for room prices and theyll give you a better rate, with a players card you get rooms in some times of the year at 49.99. The rooms are perfectly clean and the buffet has all the foods you get in the big hotels at a better price, you get big wins in the slots, and, to be honest, all rooms in Vegas are exactly the same at any hotel you go, you can pay low and still visit all the atractions at other hotels

I'm a huge Bally's fan myself.
Tip: DO NOT stay in a Vegas casino hotel on Christmas Eve/Day. I never saw so many idiots trying to take their young kids onto the casino floor with them while they gambled away the grocery money.

The Bellagio! The solarium is decorated beautifully during the holiday. Not to mention you'll be smack-dab in the middle of the strip, you can walk to many of the best casino hotels.

I stayed at the Las Vegas Club. It's on Fremont Street. I enjoyed my stay two years ago on New Years.

Depending on your money situation, the Monte Carlo on the strip is really nice, also conveniently located in the middle. Across the street is the M&M store& MGM. Nice clean place, great service and the prices aren't that bad.

Sams Town fine off strip + a number of solid 1s downtown. Week around Xmas slow. Stay off-strip as no reason to pay more.

Go and find out for yourself.....
You won't regret it.
