Funny, I just made a similar comment. I totally agree. If you can't afford the hpt, then go to a women's clinic and get a free pregnancy test. The fact of the matter is if you don't want to be pregnant, don't have unprotected sex (or any sex for that matter). If you think you could be, then you could be and we can't answer that question for you. The people who didn't like your question are the ones who keep asking the stupid ones.

Some are just looking for other women's opinions and advice. In my situation, I've been to my Dr. and have had many tests: urine, blood, pelvic exam.... I feel and look pregnant, but everything is telling me I'm not. I'm now hearing from other women that have been there and they pretty much say the same thing... no positive until 4+ months. On the other hand, this is the Internet, and there are most likely a lot of younger girls that are afraid and don't have anyone else to get answers from, despite the obvious.

I agree. Nobody on answers can tell these idiots that they're pregnant or not.
I really love the ones who can't read or write and think they're pregnant. Those are hilarious.

Watch this one.

I think it's because alot are young girls who don't want other people to know they've had sex, especially not their parents.

When you live in a small town where everyone knows everyone else, it's not easy keeping something like that hidden from your parents, say. Think if this; you go to buy a home pregnancy test and the next day everyone knows about it.

Well that's what I think anyways!

I don't know, maybe they're in denial. Maybe they've already taken a test and want to see if others have the same symptoms... who knows?

What fun is asking a question on Yahoo! Answers, if you can find out from a test? Why don't you stop reading the questions? Does it bother you?

It is because they are scared. Asking "could I be pregnant", those people want someone to reassure them that they couldn't possibly be pregnant, but the truth is that if you have unprotected sex there is always a chance you will be pregnant.

Get a test and if it is positive, go see your doctor for confirmation.

You can't go to the store and get a test because for one itz not all the way accurate if u did not kno and for 2 you have to wait a whole 2 weeks after your period or something like that

I gave up on answering alot of those quetsions. But there are some people out there that would like to ask first because it might make them feel better. I am still happy to answer any question that might make someone feel a little better about themselves.

Trying to get pregnant is very nerve wracking. You want advice and info from anyone.
Having a pregnancy scare would also be nerve wracking, wanting someone to calm your nerves and tell you that you are imagining things.
If you don't like these questions, stay off the topic. You know how we women are--we over-analyze everything and talk it to death.
