As far as me---I totally hate "hamburgers" I cant stand them at all and I loved them--I also hate pasta (italian food)---I dont know why. THe only meat i like is chicken and shrimp----and one thing I have craved the whole time are pickles.
And I go thru weird moments like for a whole week i only like "corndogs" and then i cant stand them. Or some weeks i only want sandwiches and then i cant stand them---I just hope when the pregnancy is over I go back to loving hamburgers and i hope i can go to the Olive Garden and have a big fat meal! :)

With my first pregnancy I was addicted to strawberry pie. With my 2nd, it was oranges...I would eat an orange, throw it up and then go back for more. With this one, I'm all over the board. One minute I'm craving fried chicken and the next I'm craving oatmeal. As for repulsions...pretty much anything I'm not craving along with strange things certain clothes I have or the brightness of a lamp. With my 2nd, I had to have soft pink bulbs in all my lamps because the light put off by a regular bulb made me sick. :)

I am in my ninth month and my main cravings are pecans and milk which is odd because I have always hated nuts and never liked milk. At least it is healthy for me and the baby.
As far as foods I find repulsive: eggs (raw or cooked), meats, more then anything I hate sweets. Chocolates, cookies, cakes they seem to make me sick.
This child is going to be a health fanatic! :)
Other then foods... I must admit the smell of my husbands breath makes me want to hurl. Even after he brushes, flosses and gargles. It is sickening, but I could never tell him that.

I also hated the smell of cooking meat. It made me want to gag! And another weird thing--I don't like pancakes. I never have. But when I was pregnant--that's all I wanted to eat. I ate pankcakes from IHOP's everyday. Sometimes 2 or 3 times in one day. And not just one--I would scarf down about 3 or 4 in one sitting. As soon as my son was born, I was back to being repulsed by pancakes.

that's so funny... i never had any cravings, either. and dear hubby kept asking... i think he wanted to have a good story to tell at work, like sending him out at midnight for pickles and ice cream would have been some strange rite of passage.
repulsions were every day, though!
i couldn't even look at raw chicken, let alone cook it!
i know i wasn't supposed to eat it anyway, but i couldn't take the smell of cream cheese, which i usually love
the grossest thing of all (which started during pregnancy and still bothers me 2 years later) is that i can't stand to look at anyone, or hear anyone chewing their food! and ---ewwww--- if they talk with their mouth full, i just about gag.

I used to love chicken, bell peppers, pesto, and oranges, but since becoming pregnant I can't even think of eating them! They just make me gag!
Before I was pregnant I also didn't like avocados, tomatoes, or pepperonchinis, but now I can't have a sandwich without them!!
The weirdest thing I've been craving is (ok this is going to sound REALLY weird) paint! lol! You know how some women crave dirt, or I've even heard women craving fresh cat litter, well, I guess it's something like that. I don't know why! They just re-painted my office building, and since then I've just been craving it. told you it was weird! haha!

I had no 'cravings' as such, but foods i did not like, i found myself eating them, tomatoes, porridge, cheese, etc.
One of my girlfriends used to crave butter/margarine on it's own! She would simply just go to the fridge and eat butter/margarine with a spoon, like she was eating ice-cream yuk!!
We used to have a laugh, and i would say to her that her baby would come out all greasy!!

OK the things you are about to read may sound really gross but that's what I've been craving
1.olives and fried chicken
2.pickles dipped in hot fudge
3.vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and variety nuts ( actually that does not sound gross)
strong cravings for pasta and garden salad

My husband craved this stupid Chinese restaurant all the time. Just hearing the name would make me nauseous and I would throw up in the parking lot as we pulled in so he could eat. It was horrible. To this day the site of broccoli with a red dressing on it makes me queasy. (One of his favorite things to eat at the resturant.)
