In the Geology class I took in college, we studied the composition of a mineral, the tides of the oceans and how they contribute to climate and composition of the earth. I would say all of these answers are true but, if I had to choose just one, we did focus on the composition and names of the minerals in the lab portion of the class so I would choose answer "A".

A geologist would most likely study the composition of a mineral.
Geologists study the origin, history, and structure of the earth. The other three options would be studied by Geographers.
