You need to download a reader like Adobe to be able to "read" PDF files. You can download for free.

Depending on which browser you're using, there are different plug-ins available. You should, in Mozilla Firefox or IE5+, have the ability to add the acrobat plug-in. That lets you view the doc and then save. Lookup in the browswer Help to info plug-ins or plugins.

IF you already have the plug-in and Acrobat, you have to Right-click a .pdf icon and change the action to open with Acrobat Reader.

When you recieve pdf files, hold your mouse on it, then right click and then click "save as" and put it where you'll find it. When it's finished dl'ing, click on open. It should open then.

It's probably how your set your own browser... I found out the hard way, hah!
