Hi there!
The capital city of the Czech Republic is Praha.
In the Czech language (Cestina), Prague is spelt "Praha"! So in their native language, the Czech's call their capital "Praha".
For your information, when you use Praha in a sentence in Czech - it can actually change its name!
So for example:
To je Praha
This is Prague
Ja bydlim z Praze
I live in Prague
Yes, sometimes Praha becomes "PRAZE"! Also Prahy, Prahu, Prahuv etc,
Czech is a strange and interesting language that the capital city has more than one name - depending on how you use it in a sentence!
Hope this helps!
