I'd rather put my money on these fairies, compared to the lot, the Scots have. Not that I would, but give me England over any of the other Home nations, any day.

On their day i believe Engurland could beat anyone but England are unlikely to win a major tournament because they are not good enough to win several games on the trot against quality opposition.

They have some great players, unfortunately that doesn't always equal a great team. Cant remember who it was but a manager of the past once said he picks his best team not neccessarily the best players.(i've a feeling it was Alf Ramsay)

The arrogance of the media and pseudo english eg Mark Lawrenson, Des Lynam et al has not helped either. Arrogance itself is not a problem for those who are at the pinnacle of their chosen pursuit eg Lance Armstrong.

At least us Scots know we're p!ss and revel in the occasional glories of good teamwork.

Get 11 on the field with the commitment of Gary Nev and Ashley Cole and we might have a chance. That Lampard:Gerrard combination just doesn't work. Next time you watch England, notice just how much time these two posers spend looking at the big screen to see if they are on camera.

Come back Scholes and Shearer, all is forgiven.

The problem with these fairies is that although induvidualy they are some of the best in the world, they hardly ever play well as a "team", no matter what formation or what squad is picked.

not a chance i would play for free if i could
but they think they should be paid for club and country don't they get enough i think that they live in fear of not being able to buy absolutely everything and any thing they want all the time then they say its only a short career which is true but if ny of 1 of us made a million in 1 year don't ud think we would finish work

England still has a very respectable team and most importantly a whole country of fans behind them.

No way would you want fairies playing for England, that's why our team has football players that are human, and male.
