Stamp collecting is a wonderful hobby! I am totally involved in it. Check out the American Philatelic Society at http://www.stamps.org for lots of great information - a membership is the best bargain in the hobby, but the website is great even if you're not ready to join. (If you're under 18, click on the YSCA button on the left,)
Another great site is http://www.virtualstampclub.com - you can read the articles and the messages on the message board as a guest, but you have to register (free!) to post on the message board. Lots of great people there, but currently no kids as far as I know. But the Young Stamp Collectors of America (YSCA) use the chat room at Virtual Stamp Club.

i'm 134 years previous and that i've got been accumulating on account that 1958. in spite of the fact that, purely considered one of my babies did any accumulating, and he gave them to me whilst he left. so a strategies none of my grandchildren might want my series. How unhappy. There are some particularly large looking stamps popping out that youngsters ought to love, like large Heroes, megastar Wars, Disney, etc.

no i dont collect them but i always maje sure to get different stamps from the post office to put on my out going mail.
