I fill like a dark cloud hangs over my life no matter what. Don't tell me to get to know God. I already do I am a Christian and I know that God is real and in control, so i know the problem rests with me. But honestly I have tried everything. This many things can not happen to one person.I have been molested, threatened with murder, gang molested, robbed 2x at gunpoint, been hungry, without heat, phone, car, etc. And don't tell me to focus on someone else either I have tried. At this point I give up, I just want to be loved, but I guess i will just have to wait to die. Can anyone tell me what my problem might be? Also I went to school for 2yrs and I loved it but now I can't even get a job in that field. Help is anybody out there does anybody care?

Looks as though "they've" been trying to kill you all along and yet you've managed to survive. Don't you find that unusual? I mean...you want to wuss out on life and end it all...yet....how did you survive to this point if it wasn't by your own volition? Ever think of that? Ever think that despite having all this sh*t luck you may achieve your goal if you keep working at it?
God is not in control. You are the master of your own destiny for the most part. You'll never be successful and loved unless you really put your nose to the grindstone. Tell me...people just don't "end up" in these types of situations. I suspect that your prior lifestyle may have had a lot to do with all of this. People just don't get "gang molested, threatened with murder, molested period and have no heat, car, phone, etc without not having done...or not done...something.
If you put yourself there it's up to you to work hard at righting the situation you've made and get back on track.

Good luck. Besides...killing yourself is for losers. Unless you have a terrifically painful or terminal disease.....I cannot subscribe to suicide. Although it is the most sincere form of self criticism.

Yes, I care. And I have been through most of all the things you listed in my life time, even to being sold by my father. But remember first you must love yourself and forgive all others to get past any and all bad that has happened to you. You are still alive and hopeful have your health. Maybe you chose the easy way out for a subject in school and not one that had an open job market if so go back to school, you can get a grant for that. I wish you luck and do get involved, go to church, join an exercise group, make new friends, above all don't sit home and feel sorry for your self. Life is a gift enjoy it.

I can identify; often I feel gloomy like a dark cloud is hanging over me. Some days just feel great while other days like today are tough to get thru. Often I wonder if I'll ever fall in love again.

The short simple answer is to stay busy, don't socially isolate, get a posse (friends or acquaintences) exercise, diet, hobbies, get career help etc.

Remember lots of us are in the same shoes. Together we can help each other but alone we often stay stuck on depression.
Good luck!

Your youthful, this is rather the initiating of your existence, i know it is gotten tough, and that i think for what you have long previous by and proceed to handle, yet time will exchange issues. provide your self extra time, provide existence a real possibility, only locate little strategies to maintain on, do not attempt to unravel it unexpectedly, only artwork on bits and products, often and mixed with how issues only come around, there'll be progression, yet you ought to have faith, purely using fact in case you do not then you will stay unfavorable, and that may not help pull you out, yet only placed you in deeper. shop that attitude, "stable issues have passed off to me" and comprehend they are able to ensue back, at every time.

As a 38 yr old single father of 2, (one is special needs) and a part time care giver to their grandmother, I have no luxury of giving up, even though by the time my kids are old enough and grandmother has crossed over, I'll be too old for a relationship/marriage. but then, I also resemble Gene wilder as willie wonka so there is no hope for me. and you thought you had problems?

find what makes you happy in life. Most often, find a simple pleasure and enjoy it as much as you can. Focus on the happy things in your life and eventually you'll get the strength to fix everything else.
