You said "I often faint".

I say how often?

You also said."....in the post office it felt hot and i got a cold rushing sensation all over my body it got hard to stand up so i leaned on a wall and eventually collapsed but when it happens i wake up seconds later..whats wrong with me? is it serious"?

If you are having hot and cold flashes before collapsing the cure is simple, make sure a doctor does a blood test for oestrogen level in your blood.
Depending on the results he can put you on an oestrogen peels. This peels are also for birth controls, if you are married, then your husband should be educated so that he does not get wrong idea.

Any way it can be for many other reasons, it is very rear for no reason.

Have you seen a Doctor. There are many test, he must do all of them may be one after the other, including whole body MRI, to eliminate various reasons.

Have you ruled out pregnancy? Does it happen at the time of period? Are you bleeding a lot(iron deficiency)? Are you pail(iron deficiency)?

In the mean time drink 1 gallon of liquid mainly water, have at least 3 square warm balance meals per day, watch the calorie intake, use bio mass index to determine calories required, do light excesses, walk some, if possible swim.

Google button is at the top of this screen. Search for Bio-Mass-Index.

Sounds like you're suffering from hypotension (low blood pressure), which can be compounded in a warm or cold shower. I'd almost bet the shower is either on or has just been on your neck before you pass out. Drink plenty of water and see your doctor to rule out anything more sinister.

The problem is not as serious as you think. I too had similar problems, but the frequency is not much, may be once in few years. It may be mainly due to low blood sugar levels, Take fresh juices or Glucose if you are not diabetic. Check your blood pressure. It could be psychological also. Don't accept too much strain into your brain. Take things lightly. You shall be well off. Don't worry.

it may be or may not be serious unless u
1-go to the doctor andhv checkup thouroughly
2-if there are problems like low blood pressure and bl sugar then try to make your self healthy taking diet nutritious
3-do not stand for a long time
4-before going outside u must drink glucose water and keep chocolates or sweets with u for anytime if u feel fainting

it could be serious. frequent fainting could be related to so many things. check out these problems: -
1. ensure u don't have any heart blocks or valvular or congenital heart diseases.
2. b sure u r not epileptic (grand mal/ petit mal).
3. b sure u r not suffering from any hemoglobinopathies(thalassemias/ sickle cell disease). go for a hemoglobin electrophoresis.
4. sometimes oral hypoglycemic drugs (anti-diabetic drugs) could also cause these problems. if u r taking some of them plz consult with ur diabetician.
nevertheless consult with a physician who could guide u properly.

wellll, what does the DOCTOR say? You have been doing this for decades and you have never even discussed it with an MD? It could be LOTS of things from blood sugar to blood pressure to ear issues to seizures to??

Go, make an appointment and GO...maybe this will help: if you pass out while driving(assuming you survive and kill no one) you will NOT be allowed to drive for one year; during which you will be monitored...

I fainted for years and so did my mother. I thought I had low blood pressure, but blood tests found Thallassimia Minor. It is a low red blood cell (hemaglobin) count.
