Try summoning up the most delightful fantasy you can imagine. Try and imagine feeling more blissfully fulfilled in pursuing whatever you love and value than you've ever felt before.
That's fooling around and falling in love.
Without love, you have the biochemical, physical rush of foreplay, lovemaking and orgasm. All quite satisfying, always enjoyed when done right.
With love, fooling around becomes an immensely beautiful expression of the rapture of love, one of the most profound states of grace we mortals will ever know on this earthly plane -- indeed, making love, in love, we transcend to a higher plane, into the perfect moment when time stands still, and we are suspended in that perfect moment, souls entwined, bodies fused, we melt together.

in just a few words, i can say it (the difference between love and just fooling around) like this ~~
fooling around is... two bodies pleasantly bumping into one another..
love is... a single soul inhabiting two bodies

Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self-love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.
The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love. Others call it a recently invented abstraction, sometimes dating the "invention" to courtly Europe during or after the middle ages (though this is contradicted by the sizable body of ancient love poetry). Others maintain that love really exists, is not an abstraction, but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature. Some psychologists maintain that love is the action of lending one's "boundary" or "self esteem" to another. And others attempt to define love and apply the definition to everyday life.

If you love someone your willing to accept them the way they are faults and all. Anyone can fool around. It takes commitment to love someone and a whole lot of compromise.

Love is when you have an emotional attachment to someone and you truly care about them. Fooling around with someone and keeping it at that<--- you really don't feel anything emotional.

love is something that you feel in your heart, it is something that you know when you feel it, fooling around is just getting your socks off, with someone that turns you on.
