She does not act at all like a best friend to me. She never calls now that she's at college, so it's been almost a month since we talked. She took a trip with her COLLEGE friends over the weekend and promised me she'd email me when she got back, but she didn't, but she did message a dozen friends on facebook.com i noticed. she used to criticize me and act like my mom and what not. One time at school I had to get some flyers from her this past year and so I asked her and she snaps at me all rude and says "I'm getting it, DON'T rush me, give me a minute." ms. priss, sheesh. then one time i asked her to help me do some math problems because she said she would help me and she is all rude & says "I don't know. gee. i haven't taken that class in forever, u think i know how to do it?" i don't WANT a friend like that, or a so called friend. we aint talked in a month and that's her fault. wat to do? she's spost to be both a genius and a christian but she doesn't act like it. What u think?

Fair weather friends like that are NEVER worth your time. Check out your local craigslist under platonic to see if there are any new people in your area who would like to be your friend. I've met some great people, and some not so great, but at least it's a place to start. Lucks a bunch!!

frens are supposed to make u happy not terrible. if she doesn't realise ur worth, it's her loss. most ppl change at college- some for the better but unfort in ur frens case for the worse. u need to let go and move on. i'm sure u'll meet even better people than her. but if u feel tt she's really impt to u, give it one last shot . call her up and ask her wat's wrong n tell her how u feel. if she's still a *****, let her go.

Sorry to say, but it sounds as though she has grown apart from you. She has moved on, and you should too.
College is a VERY busy, new and exciting time. I wouldn't take it personally (easier to say i know). Now would be a good time for you to make some new friends and try new things,,,with friends like her, who needs enemies?

Let it go, give her the chance to miss you. Drop her a Christmas card and let her get intouch with you.

Don't ever beg someone to be your friend.
Go find some new friends. You'll be fine.Good luck!

Unfortunately, that happens you will have many people come and go in your life. You may even reconnect later!
