Can you get brown sweats & a matching sweatshirt? You could attach the "fringe" to the undersides of the sleeves & down the sides of the pants legs to get the "buckskins" effect - even cut the neck in a "V" & lace it with rawhide for more authenticity. A pair of mocassin style slippers should do for shoes, unless you can make the knee high mocassin boots!! For fringe, you could look in a fabric store or even cut up a brown towell into strips & cut the fringes on that. My son was Davy Crockett so I know about trying to get the costume just right. Research the headgear Daniel Boone wore - you can't just slap a coonskin cap on & call it done, because he didn't wear that as much & isn't known for it like Davy Crockett was . . . Good luck & have fun - hope this is some help!
