I WOULD LIKE PEOPLE WHO HAVE CHANGED OPERATORS SEVERAL TIMES TO ANSWER ME : I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE GOOD VOICE QUALITY, EXTENSIVE COVERAGE .

I have changed several operators and finally am happy with BSNL so stick with it.

I would suggest u to go for Airtel, THE BEST in terms of voice quality, coverage and importantly CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I have been using it for more than 3 yrs, i never thought of going for another operator. Use and feel the difference yourself. Cellone always give recorded msgs like the persone u r calling is out of coverage area or all lines in this route are busy pl try after sometime.....Voice quality is poor when compared with Airtel. Airtel has range of plans just checkout www.airtel.in to know more....

I have been with AirTel for 3 years. Inspite of some minor issues their service & support has been good. VAS like GPRS, Hello Tunes,Games/Videos are good but costlier than BSNL. In roaming coverage is good but not as cheap as BSNL.I have also tried Aircel (1 yr) and BPL (3 mnths) and with that experience in mind i can suggest you to go for AirTel

Retain Cell one, I have tried many operators here like Aircel, Hutch, Air tel finally I have settled for Cell one. From Nov 1 2006 all std are local all over India call rate is 1.20 for 3 min land line to LL and 1.20/min for cell to cell/LL.
Incoming in roaming is also cheap in cell one Rs.2 / min. SMS 40ps, Premium SMS 80ps. So don't change, continue with Cell one as coverage is all over India even in LOC & IB, Andaman and lakshadeep. Where other operators are not having coverage.
