I am considered a liberal, but I HATE illegal immigrates. But the fact of the matter is that they are here. We can't allow anymore to come here ILLEGALLY, but we cannot abandon the ones who are here.
To continue the debate would be terrific....but you seemed to just label them cowardly and weak.
Every person in this country should be required to speak, read, write English. But on the flip side, Americans should also learn one of the other languages spoken in the whole hemisphere seeing how there is only 4.(different debate for a different day)
Back the immigration thing, what do you suppose we do with all the illegals we have here? Through them in jail(costs way too much and then turns them into criminals), send them back(thus creating a humanitarian crisis on our borders - not a good thing for many different reasons including national security), or giving them an opportunity to become a citizen?
