I'm about to buy some Nexxus Therappe shampoo on ebay. The stores don't carry it anymore in large sizes. Anyway, according to the seller it might have an expiration but he's not sure. Ever heard of an expiration date for shampoo??

Yes, shampoo can go bad the same as food. You should check for an expiration date on grooming items, especially if they are discounted.

YES, but somethings probably aren't that affected by an expiration, just the company trying to be safe and liable. I would go ahead and use something like shampoo even if it is out of date. Something like food, now that is a different story.

Shampoo is always good from what I've heard. I've never seen an expiration date on any of mine.

Yes, especially if the shampoo contains certain vitamins or herbs. I've used old shampoos and did not have problems but then again, I probably didn't get the best results either.

Shampoos that have no or very little preservatives in them have expiration dates.

No, but it seems that everything has an expiration date now of days.

Yes, most items like that have expiration dates as the active ingredients lost their potency over time.
