China's goal is to capture Taiwan. And will do so by force if there's no capitulation.China COULD crush North Korea if it was in their best interests.George Bush undertook bold actions by expressing U.S. support for the defense of Taiwan following the stand-off in March 2001 with the People's Republic of China over the crash of a Chinese air force jet and the detention of U.S. personnel. (remember?)
So, again I must ask is North Korea REALLY a puppet of CHINA??? note from wikipedia:

In an ongoing dispute, the People's Republic of China attempts to claim sovereignty over Taiwan and some nearby islands, which have been controlled by the Republic of China (ROC) since 1945. The PRC asserts the Republic of China to be an illegitimate and supplanted state and administratively categorizes Taiwan as a province of the PRC. The ROC does not recognize these claims, administering itself as a sovereign country with a democratically elected government and presidency.....stay tuned

No Way. Kim is the only one pulling North Korea's strings. China is petrified that a destabilized North Korea could spill over into China, they are protecting North Korea because they fear an embargo would set off unrest that could escalate causing millions of starving, uneducated people to crash their border.

North Korea has nothing whatever to do with Taiwan. And, since you mention Bush, a good part of the problem with Taiwan now is that Bush stupidly broke the longstanding US policy of ambiguity: while the US always supported One China there was always ambiguity over whether the US would actually step in in case of invasion. The ambiguity kept China from invading because they feared the US might defend, but it also kept Taiwan from doing or saying outrageous things knowing that they could always run to daddy for protection. Bush cleverly wrecked this balance, which is why Taiwan now feels free to begin pushing independence.

I guess we'll find out in a bit, when N. Korea gets pissed when we don't talk to them one on one. Lets just hope that we're not getting stabbed in the back by China.

Short answer is that it certainly seems to be. But with Communists, you can never tell what they are really up to. Lies and misinformation are their standard operating procedure.
