My boyfriend leaves for work an hour earlier than I do, so I know that when he wakes me up to kiss me goodbye that I have an hour left to sleep before I have to get up. I'll always try to fall back asleep as fast as I can, in order to maximize that one hour, and when my alarm goes off I shut it up and start calling for my cat, Bacon, to cuddle with her--first order of the day. After enough petting, it's time for the bathroom to go pee.

If it's cold, I'll wrap myself in my huge pink chenille bathrobe and stumble into the kitchen in my Fuzzies, a pair of furry pink slippers, to get some water--the first thing that goes in my body every day--and to prepare breakfast, usually eggs or cereal. Then there's the radio, usually tuned to K Hits 106.7fm ("The 6 is for 60s, the 7 is for 70s"), which makes me happy or frustrated depending on whether anything good is on.

After that it's back to the bathroom, where I sometimes have to take a poop; if not, I start brushing my teeth, followed by a round of washing the face. Then it's HAMMER TIME! Just kidding. It's then time for my makeup. After the makeup I check what time it is, and usually, I have to rush to change into my work clothes, although "rush" is a bit...misleading, seeing's how I take forever to choose what to wear (I can't help it--I have NOTHING to wear!). After that, I rush back into the bathroom to make sure my hair looks good, then it's off to the kitchen to gather my lunch and book, make sure I have everything that I need, put my shoes on, back to the bathroom again to make sure I look good, bye to the kitty, grab my keys, and it's off I go.

Takes about 35 minutes. Not too bad, eh?

30 minutes.
Get out of bed. Use bathroom. Groom. Get dressed in jeans and shirt. Eat breakfast. Brush teeth. Put on little make-up. Leave annoying dog in house. That's my morning excitment.

Get up and get some coffee (I set it the night before and set the timer for it to brew 5 minutes before I have to get up.), take it outside on the patio and sip it while I smoke a cigarette or two. Come inside, grab a towel and wash cloth from the linen closet and go to the bathroom. Brush my teeth, then get in the shower and wash myself and my hair. Get out and dry off and go get dressed. Go back to the bathroom and put on my perfume and deodorant and comb my hair and dry it. Try to fix it and make myself look halfway decent. Go out to the kitchen and pack my lunch, pour my travel mug of coffee and grab my purse. Stop by the front door to put on my shoes and I'm out the door. From start to finish it takes me anywhere from 45 - 60 minutes, depending on how fast I move. LOL

I wake up at 6:00am on the dot. I stretch and walk 10 feet to my bathroom, turn on the shower, wait 2 minutes for it to warm up, and get in. I shower which takes approx 5 minutes, and get out and brush my teeth while i dry off. I put on my undergarments and walk 10 feet back to my room where i find my clothes laid out. I put my clothes on, grab my coat, walk 25 feet down to my front door, I spray cologne on myself, and walk outside, locking the door behind myself. I light a cigarette and spend 3-4 minutes smoking it. At exactly 6:25am, every morning i walk from my front porch up to my car, open my driver's side door, and get inside my car. I turn on the car, defrost the windows, warm my engine for 2 minutes approx, and then turn on my headlights and drive to work. It takes me 25 minutes exactly to drive to work, and then im at work for 4 hours until lunchtime. and i do this everyday, like a robot.
