if you have a doctor that is experienced and knows what they are doing then they aren't that bad. Just uncomfortable, but if you get someone who is new to it all or a student it hurts like HELL!!!

Not too painful. More embarrassing than anything especially when you're told to scoot your bottom all the way to the edge of the bed and then they turn on a light and use a thing to open you up and then insert a Que tip and its over sometimes you might have a little bleeding .

Not too painful. More embarrasing than anything especially when you're told to scoot your bottom all the way to the edge of the bed and then they turn on that HOT light and shine it where the sun DON'T usually shine.

Nothing to worry about providing you are relaxed and not tense. They do not hurt, they are important for a healthy pregnancy and once you have had one you will be fine with the rest. You lose all your dignity when you have a baby.

They are uncomfortable but they are really quick. the have you lay on your back and put your feet into some sterups and you have to lay there with your legs open wide to bare it all. Then they get this metal thing (hopefull they warmed it up ) they stick it in you and then take samples from your cerivix. then your done.

like a pap. If you don't know what that is like then you need to go to the doctor, and have them explain. It only takes about 3-5 minuts, but it is not very fun. But it is not the end of the world.

It's really not that bad as long as you are comfortable with your doctor and your body, which hopefully you are. Here is a link to an in depth description of what to expect.
