President spoke today about N Korea, but he pretty much talked for over an hour just blabbing and telling reporters how good they looked if you were watching or hearing his speech. Is this worth interrupting your show for? If it's important of course, but today I didn't feel it was.

Wow! Alot of interesting answers. For those of you who watched today's speech then you know that the President re-iterated what he said yesterday about N Korea. Yes it was important AGAIN but after 10 or so minutes it got to be so boring! and then it just got worse after that. My thing is say what you're going to say and be done with it!

Did you even listen to what he said, or did you just sit there and complain?

A question like this just shows how absent minded people are, who sit at home all day, do nothing but watch tv, then go on the Internet and make fun of the situation.

C=JD sumed it up.

Our country could be attacked with a nuclear weapon. I guess Days of our lives is more important then knowing how people want to kill us.

heck no! I hate when they interupt the TV show I'm obviously interested in because I am watching it just to give him TV time. Trust me if they set up 1 channel for him to go on whenever he has something to say those that are interested will tune in.

heck, i'll even deal with a reminder that scrolls across or at the bottom of the TV for a few minutes to remind those that are interested that he's going to make a speech. i think it's unfair and personally i'm not interested!!

Presidential press conferences and speeches come lots much less usually than they as quickly as did. i became a toddler whilst Lyndon Johnson became President, it appeared like very practically each night television became interupted for a press convention or some thing. i don't submit to in concepts Bush making many speeches on television these days, till he became on Saturday night with regard to the typhoon. i became not watching. and often shows p.c.. up the place they left off after the speech, i think of.

Although what the president says is usually of importance whoever whats to hear him, whether he be intelligent or an absolute moron, they can flip on freakin CNN or Fox News to hear him speak, of course we'd all miss out on hearing all of his classic words "Stratergery" being just one of his many. To get off the topic I would like to add, would have been nice had the current "leader of the free world" cared more about nuclear weapons than "stealing" oil from the Middle East or trying to make up for his daddy looking like an idiot, of course he makes more money caring about oil than nuclear weapons.

Nothing that coke-head has to say is ever important enough or interesting enough to interrupt a good show. After all no matter what he's talking about it's always the same propaganda. Now if they ever decide to try him for war crimes I'd be willing to interrupt my shows for that.

Yes. The situation in N. Korea is serious.

The TV station has the right to make the call & they did.

Let's ponder this for a moment:

Television show

or

A madman testing nuclear weapons which he might use to murder 200,000 people.

I can see why you'd be so concerned. The TV show is obviously much more important.

Oh my word! What could he possibly say that could be more important than Oprah, Dr. Phil or a soap opera?!! The nerve of him. Just because he's the leader of the free world, he thinks what he says might be important. How arrogant.
