okay.... i think i have some kind of fear of the opposite sex. i just clam up whenever i have to talk to a girl. not sure whats wrong with me, as my best friend is a girl. and now, theres a rumour going around that im gay. little help please??

Alot of people have a fear of the opposite sex especially if they fancy someone but it sounds like you`re just shy around girls. As your best friend is a girl that should give you more cofidence with the opposite sex you just have to try and act around other girls as you act with your best friend just talk to them and laugh with them and eventually you will have thecourage to maybe ask one out if you want to. As for the gay rumours...take no notice of rumours hey at least they are talking about you! As long as you know your not....if your not...if you are that`s cool so what, its your business! Rumours cant hurt you only your own actions can. Be brave and be confident but most of all be yourself! Good luck

First off, you really cannot listen to what others say about you. The only person that knows you, is you. As far as talking to girls, you have to believe in yourself and be comfortable. Much easier said than done, as I to have the same problem with regards to speaking to women when the opportunity presents itself. Believe that you have something worthwhile to say and believe that she wants to talk to you.
A good suggestion to get another perspective...ask your best friend, who happens to be a female, to give you advice. She can also help in setting up situations in which not all the pressure is on you to carry the conversation as she can be involved. Good chance that further conversations will spawn off of that.

I guessing your a girl, It's OK. Talking is a skill just like riding a bike.
When I was a kid, I was like you. My parent tells me when I come to U.S of A I have to learn to look at a person's eye when I'm talking. I hated that. So I learn that if you learn to look at one eye, right or left only you can speak what is on your mind.
It's hard to start a conversation. so Start with question in your mind you want to know about a person. Then just follow the question up with more questions. like a reporter. Then you fill it in with your own personal point of view. Then guess what?
You just had a conversation.

who cares what people think just be yourself and when you meet the right person you will know what to say. dont let rumours bug you they are from people that with issues who want to put the attention on other people so that the attention is off of them for there problems.

A lot of guys feel the same at first , then after talking to a few girls they see it is cool to do . You will be fine . In a few years these people will all be out of your life anyway !
