I have a pretty good grasp of the English language yet growing up in the hood has had an effect on my grammar. How can I talk more like a white person so I get the good jobs?

1. Talk like the people on television- clearly and without slang or saying "mother-f***er" every other word.

2. Don't move your head around when you talk.

3. Learn to shut up once in a while, and listen to others.

4. Stand still. Don't talk with your hands.

5. Have respect for others.

Why would you want to talk like a white person? Just move to Atlanta - get into politics - and over-exaggerate the ebonics to the point of parody - and you'll be elected to anything you want. Looking forward to working for you soon, sir.

First of all don't say "cracka" it's cracker.

Don't use slang at all, don't dress like a gangster, and don't have a chip on your shoulder.

Either move, or stop hanging around the people you are hanging around with. Stop trying to be like your friends.
