Ok this is a bit unconventional but it worked for me. I had a tilted uterus and my husbands sperm was having a hard time trying to implant because of it. My Doctor advised me after having sex to immediately stand on my head. So I had a pillow beside the bed on the floor and when we were finished I flipped upside down, used the side of the bed as a back support and stayed that way for as long as I could tolerate it (I think it was about 2 minutes). It worked like a charm. My son who was conceived in that manner is now 12. Like I said, I know it sounds silly but it does work.

go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

hi,
the whole food/habit thing doesn't matter. You didn't say how old you were or your partner. you could try an ovulation test so you know it's the right time, but if you're both young and it's been 2 years you might want to just get checked out - both of you, to ensure fertility, then take that doctor's advice! :-)

good luck!!

I have a friend that was trying to get pregnant and they were looking into fertility drugs and their doctor told them to have sex on an everyother day basis. Where a lot of people will tell you to just have sex as amuch as possible, that brings his spem count down way down. Good Luck and just have fun and experimant with different sex acts. :>

once we started actively trying it took over six months. every month we would be devastated because we wanted a baby so badly. it seemed like once we just decided that it would happen when and if it was going to, it happened right away.
i can't imagine going through that for 2 years. i thought i would go crazy during the six months, which i realize most people have a harder time than that and still dont have luck. i really hope you have things turn out good.
good luck

It took me two years to get pregnant and I had no problems! What I did was, not to think about it for a couple of months! when your not expecting it then it will happen and do have plenty of sex because, the more you do it, the more the guy makes!
