It has to be their first album 'Definitely Maybe', the songs were simple and honest and they wanted it bad.... I found that anything after that just lacked an certain edge and I lost interest quite quickly.
If you like that then you can also get a cd of B-sides 'The Masterplan' a number of songs are from the same period in the bands history and are pretty good too... ENJOY!

Although 'Definitely Maybe' is a hell of a good album, I'd go for '(What's the Story) Morning Glory' because of track 9.

I believe at one time "Be Here Now" was the CD most sold to second hand record shops....
...speaks volumes. It's rubbish
Go for Definately Maybe (and stop there)
