You need to use a good quality water based foam leather cleaner.

DO NOT use anything containing oils, waxes or silicones.

Baby wipes are just about the worst thing you can use as they will destroy the finish on your leather.

Saddle soap is too harsh to use on todays furniture.

You should also follow this with a good water based leather protector which will act like a 'scotchgard' and inhibit dirt and stains from being absorbed and make cleaning easier the next time.

If the leather has dye transfer from clothing or is very very dirty you can use a stronger cleaner called maxi cleaner which will probably bring it up well but must be used with care as it is a strong product developed especially for this kind of problem.

I have had a cream leather suite for ten years and I have only ever used a clean sponge and warm water. Squeeze most of the water out and you can give it a good old scrb. use a clean cloth (or an old white t-shirt) and dry it off. You can see all of the dirt come off onto the cloth. Believe me it works, and it's FREE!.

As it is cream means it is dyed you can only use warm soppy water, then a dry cloth to dry and buff, if you use any chemical it will remove the protective polish they apply when producing the leather colour.

Jane has hit it spot on but just to add to that, use the non fragranced ones - and they should have baby lotion in them to keep the leather soft.
