Anyone have a lot of clear mucus during early pregnancy? What is it for and I feel like I have it a lot. I am only 5 weeks. This is my first pregnancy, so I am kind of clueless as to what my body is doing.

it is very common in the early pregnancy that u discharge alot.i am 7 weeks pregnant.i also have a lot of discharge. this is also my first pregnancy. the doc told me that its common that preg ladies discharge in the early pregnancy. so relax. and yes do read "What to Expect? When your Expecting" its a too good book. i've been reading that book and have learned alot from it.. and remember just read one book coz every author has different views, u tend to get confused. just concentrate on one book. and consult ur doc regarding the book.

It is Normal if it is cleap you will get discharge throughout pregnancy, as long as it isnt yellow or greenish with a foul smell and itchy then you should be fine if you do have any of that go to the doctor you could have a infection.

Yes it totally normal, as long as it's clear and pretty thin with no smell or blood. Your body is adjusting to drastic hormonal changes now that you're pregnant, expect a lot of weird things! Congratulations to you as well, the first is always when you have the most questions, that's what we're here for :)

Hi!
You will have more than normal. When you're pregnant, your body will produce more fluids to flush out any bacteria. It's for the health of you and your baby. You will leak a lot, it is very normal. It's just getting things out that shouldn't be there. Sometimes I would even have to wear a pad. But if things don't seem right to you, just be sure to ask your doctor. ;)

Yeah, you do have a lot of discharge though out pregnancy. Its typically heavier and thicker and whiter the futher along you get.

clear discharge is completely normal. as long as theres no smell and no itching. Any concerns tho ask ur dr.

Yup, dischage happens and it smells to because smells are so much mor defined. I hated going to the bathroom for that reason. Mine lasted awhile. I thought I was the only one it happened to. My sister was pregnant with me and I got the nerve to ask her if she had and she did!! At every dr. apt. they will ask if you have discharge too.

it could be a sign of infection. you should probaly see your ob. a little bit of discharge is normal. as long as there is no blood in it. since you feel like it is alot see your ob.
