I have questions I answered in voting status. I can't see where I stand because I need to vote...But...?
It wouldn't feel like I really won best answer if I voted for myself.

If a person asks a question, really looking for information, it means that he does not know the answer. If ten people give answers to the question, many contradicting, the asker still does not know which answer is the correct one.
Deciding which is the best should be done by some very knowledgeable person, not the asker.

just vote for the best one even if it is you. If you read all the answers and think yours is truely the best then great! It's not like we win anything anyway.

Do you feel that your answer is truly the best? If yes, then vote for yours, if you feel someone else's is better then vote for theirs. That's what I do.

I didn't know you could vote for yourself; I was curious and tried it one time and it wouldn't let me. How did you do that?
