Thanks much to the demon chair (see previous questions), I have a small but deep cut on my hand. I have an antibiotic band-aid on it, and now it stings when it's taken off. Should I leave the band-aid on or take it off? What else do I do?

Just keep it clean (peroxide or alcohol) and covered when at risk of getting dirty, but let it breathe also, when possible. If necessary, use a butterfly bandage.

Well, first thing I would consider would be tetanus. If you have not had a tetanus shot in a while I would get it immediately. Also, if you have had the shot recently, all I would do is wash it out with some Hydrogen Peroxide , put some antibiotic ointment on it and let the air get to it. It should be fine in a couple of days. Hope you get better.
PS. I would get rid of the demon chair. LOL

Make sure you clean it with soap and water to prevent infection. Try Dial Antibacterial.
And well If and when it starts healing let some fresh air get to it. Don't pick off the scab. It's a part of the healing process.
And get rid of the Evil chair?! LOL!
Best wishes!

Clean it out with tap water and nothing else. Dry it thouroughly and put another band aid on it. Change the bandaide every day until it is completely healed.

I would leave it on if you are going out or at work erc, but if you are just at home relaxing leave the bandaid off so that the wound can get some oxygen..If you have an aloe plant, put some of it on.It works wonders...

Poor gasoline on it, then light yourself on fire. The cut will be scorched shut.

Or you could just keep it clean and bandaged. If it is to deep (tissue hanging out) see a doctor.
