They won't attack unless their dictator feels he's lost, that's a tricky part of imposing restrictions on N. Korea. If they attack first they're lost too.

Their speaker said they're willing to give up nuclear weapons if they get some more down-to-earth benefits in return, like cancelling some investigation against their goverment for money laundry. Nevertheless Washington's response was that N. Korea should quit nuclear development unconditionally.

No

China will stomp on Kim if he does. China does not want the region in turmoil as they are poised to be the most powerful nation in the near future. China has been around for a very long time and they're waiting very patiently to assume that role. They will not let a pest like N.K. hamper their destiny.
N.K. on the other-hand only has the capability of successfully waging a war against S.K. (even that would be very risky)... Maybe drop a missle or two on Japan... but for what gain? All N.K. wants is money and all Kim wants is to no longer be lonely...poor little Kim.

The Korean War has never really "ended". There is only a "cease fire agreement" between the North & US so for their leader to mouth off about declaring war show his lack of knowledge about his own country. Not that he wouldn't follow through on his threats. I think it highly probable that NK would be very attractive to the Middle East terrorist cells at this time. A strike from North Korea by itself would be devastating to them via retaliation from the US. Nuclear begets Nuclear so to speak. I think that terrorist groups backed by N.K. to strike from within our borders would be highly probable.

I don't think N.Korea trusts the US.
And why should they, N.Korea broke their promises of not developing Nukes and they did-it anyway.
I think we should attack before they put it in a missile.
I hope they realize that they are playing with the big leagues now.
There will be no ground war with them, it will be with missiles.

They have a desparate leader with possilbly no fear of consequences - so any body can guess what they will do. But I guess we need to call their bluff and tell them that we can do unaccpetable damage before they try anything.

It is better to avoid pressing for sanctions against North Korea now. US has to learn to respect other countries right to defend themselves.

Even if they do, their targeting systems are so faulty that there is no threat to civilization.
